Work with me
For many of us, life hasn’t been easy—and our bodies remember.....

We’ve all experienced situations that caused us to shut down. If you look at infants and toddlers, they are pure, free expressions of life. But as we grow, something changes. We gradually shrink our essence. We learn to fit in. To be nice. To be quiet.
You might not think of your experiences as “trauma”—but trauma isn’t always about dramatic events. It can arise from anything that overwhelmed your nervous system at a time when you didn’t have the support or capacity to fully process it. And over time, those unprocessed experiences don’t just disappear—they live on in the body, shaping how we feel, respond, and relate.
You may have already spent years trying to work through your struggles. You’ve read the books. You’ve attended the workshops. You’ve done the work. Maybe you’ve even been to therapy—sometimes for a long time.
But something still feels stuck.
This is incredibly common. Traditional talk therapy can be helpful for understanding why we feel the way we do—but insight alone doesn’t always lead to change. That’s because trauma, anxiety, and depression aren’t just stored in the mind—they’re held in the body.
You might be experiencing:
Persistent anxiety or internal tension you can’t switch off
Depression, numbness, or emotional flatness
Exhaustion or burnout that doesn't ease with rest
Feeling disconnected from your body, your emotions, or your purpose
Repeating patterns in relationships—people-pleasing, withdrawal, conflict
Trouble trusting others or being truly intimate
Difficulty setting boundaries or expressing your needs
A sense of being stuck, even when you're "doing all the right things"
A deep, underlying sense that the world—or even your own body—is not a safe place
Emotional waves that feel hard to control—anger outbursts, sudden sadness, or overwhelm that seems to come out of nowhere
These are not flaws or failures. They are intelligent responses your system created to help you survive overwhelming experiences.
Trauma can come from:
Growing up in an emotionally unsafe or unpredictable environment
Emotional neglect, criticism, or not being fully seen or heard
Relational wounds—betrayal, abandonment, divorce, or heartbreak
Chronic stress, high-pressure careers, or perfectionism
Loss, grief, medical trauma, or sudden life changes
Suppressing parts of yourself just to be accepted or survive
Body Psychotherapy offers another way.
Rather than analyzing your experience only from the neck up, we allow the body to guide the healing process. This work invites you to gently reconnect with your body’s wisdom—through sensation, movement, breath, and awareness.
Deep profound healing isn’t linear or quick - it takes time. In a safe, grounded space, we listen to what your body has been holding. We slow down. We explore how your nervous system learned to cope—and support it in discovering new possibilities.
This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you come home to yourself, with compassion, presence, and wholeness.
Over time, many people find they feel more regulated, emotionally available, and deeply connected—to themselves, to others, and to life. You can begin to trust your body again—not just to survive, but to feel, connect, and thrive.
If you’re ready to go beyond talk and into transformation, I’d be honored to support you.
